Webinar – Preparing Career and Technical Education Learners for an AI-Driven Workforce

Description: The rapid acceleration of generative artificial intelligence (AI) has moved this technology from a niche tool to a powerful, general-purpose force capable of reshaping nearly every industry, and with powerful implications for CTE. Dr. Cameron Sublett will provide an overview of a recent joint report on the impact of AI on CTE programs and industries and introduce the Applied Co-Intelligence Model, which shifts students from passive AI users to co-intelligent workers who can direct, adapt and evaluate AI to enhance their expertise. He will also discuss how employers can work with educators to implement this model and ensure CTE learners are prepared for an AI-driven workforce.

Join leaders from industry, education, and workforce development for the 9th annual Coalition for Workforce Development Through CTE Summit. This one-and-a-half-day convening brings together national partners committed to strengthening the connections between business and education to support high-quality career and technical education (CTE).

Through dynamic discussions, real-world examples, and interactive conversations, attendees will explore strategies for advancing workforce development initiatives, strengthening partnerships, and addressing emerging talent pipeline needs.

The Summit also provides valuable opportunities to:

  • Connect with industry association, nonprofit, and business leaders from across the country
  • Engage in meaningful dialogue with educators and workforce development professionals
  • Learn from innovative models that align education with workforce needs
  • Build relationships that support long-term collaboration and impact
